AIX Universal Markdown is a public draft. The Validator and Cleaner are open-source reference tools. We welcome spec feedback, bug reports, integration questions, and press inquiries — and we route them through the path most likely to get a useful response.

Open a GitHub issue
Proposals for new generator rules, amendments to existing rules, edge cases the spec doesn’t cover, or empirical variance you’ve observed in a generator we haven’t tested. GitHub Issues is the canonical channel for ratifiable spec amendments.

Report a Validator or Cleaner issue
The Validator is mis-flagging compliant markdown. The Cleaner is breaking content it shouldn’t. The example loaders aren’t working. Anything where the tools on this site are doing the wrong thing — use the form, we’ll get it on the patch list.

Response expectation: most form submissions get a reply within 3–5 business days. Spec amendment proposals submitted via GitHub follow the AIX governance amendment process and may take longer. Press inquiries get priority routing.
